Absolutely thrilled with the service—exceeded all my expectations! Had a bad fall last June I ended up with dizziness at night and a bad swollen face. The Dr wanted to prescribe me pills for the dizziness. So I went saw Doug Windsor who explained a lot to me, I took the plan out that was offered with Laser , acupuncture and general maintenance all my problems are sorted out and no long term medication needed . Would like to thank Doug for his patience and knowledge sorting my problems out. I fully recommend.

Quick, friendly, and reliable—couldn't ask for more. I went to a free learn how a chiropractor could help me with my golf performance talk back in November 25. Very informative group meeting with Doug Windsor and I was impressed but also a little sceptical about it all, gave it some thought over a couple of months and decided to give a go in Feb 26. A 12 week programme , had an initial assessment which discovered that when I was standing up straight or so I thought I actually had a curve in my spine to the left side, along with stiffness in my back , neck and pelvic area. So twice a week I saw Doug and gradually my golf swing felt much more less restricted, and I would say I am hitting further than I have for many years. I am continuing with my treatment after the six week review now down to once a week and with some structured at home exercises. I look forward to even better golf and freedom of movement this year and beyond.

I first attended a free talk on plantar fasciitis by Dr Doug Windsor last year as I had been suffering with that, knee pain, lower back pain and neck and shoulder pain for quite a while and it was getting very frustrating. After then going for an initial posture check and x ray I took up the offer of a set of sessions at a reduced rate an have never regretted it. Doug has a holistic approach which I like and always takes the time to explain everything and I never feel rushed. I also had some laser treatment which was included in the package. Since I started my neck and shoulder pain has completely gone, as has the plantar fasciitis, knee and lower back pain improved tremendously and I can actually get up out of bed easily now whereas I was struggling before. Also when out for a walk now I don’t have to keep sitting down every 15 mins which is great especially when I’m out with other people. I am 74 and will admit I did debate as to whether it was worth me doing this but a, so pleased that I did and it has made my life so much better.

I have been seeing Doug once a week for treatment to improve mobility and back pain. From the moment I met him he inspired complete confidence in me. Doug is always positive and encouraging. His gentle, reassuring manner always puts me at ease and I look forward to my visits. Doug is sensitive to my age (92) and needs, always having time for me and never hurrying me. Treatment is sensitive and appropriate, and has included acupuncture, laser and adjustments. Progress has been quite dramatic as after just a couple of visits I was able to sit up without the usual struggle! Mobility when walking quickly became much better and my back pain improved very much. He is a very caring man who has gone over and above what you would expect from a chiropractor. My life changed the day I discovered Doug! I attended a free seminar in September and was so impressed with Doug and his holistic philosophy that I booked a treatment plan -at a reduced rate!- following an initial consultation for assessment which included an X-ray. I instantly had complete faith in Doug. He has a very calm, gentle manner. He is professional and knowledgeable, quickly locating the source of the problem on each visit, and treatment is carried out appropriately. I have suffered from a burning pain in my shoulder blade for years which has not improved despite several trips to the GP and physio. I now know what is causing the problem, and adjustments along with laser treatment quickly helped not only this condition but also my backache. My posture is better than it has ever been too which I never thought possible. I can’t believe such results can be achieved in such a short space of time! I now get few episodes of pain in my scapula and hardly any backache.

The improvement in my physical and mental wellbeing, in just 6 weeks, has been nothing short of remarkable.

I’m only 6 weeks into my “journey” but I’m already functioning so much better, both at home and in my work. An issue that I’d been led to believe was chronic, and managed only with painkillers and nerve blockers, is virtually resolved. My recently worsening and debilitating back pain, is no longer keeping me awake all night, and is now only intermittent. A HUGE improvement, which with posture correction and ongoing strengthening exercises, feels as though it’s only going to get better and better over time.
A huge thanks must go to Dr Douglas Windsor, who has been brilliant throughout. He explains everything with compassion and is a master of his craft. I went to Doug because my closest friend had been going there for the pain in her back. She couldn’t speak highly enough of Doug her chiropractor, she was almost pain free after a few sessions having suffered with back pain for years.
I also had had a bad back for years after a hip replacement went wrong and I ended up with one leg long than the other. Two more hip replacements later I was struggling badly with the pain I was in. I was told I still had a leg length discrepancy of 11mm. I was in constant pain, even things like getting out of bed were challenging so I then decided to go to the same chiropractor as my friend, his name is Doug Windsor. After a few sessions I am more or less pain free. I found this very hard to believe and accept, having been told I had one leg longer than the other by an orthopaedic surgeon, to be told by Doug that the feeling of having one leg longer than the other was because the right hand side of my pelvis was rotated. I am so grateful to Doug for his brilliance on diagnosing the actual problem I had and for putting things right with my pelvis in such a short period of time.
I don’t have one leg longer than the other and I’m now standing straighter than I have done in years. Not only is Doug an amazing chiropractor, he is such a nice person too.
I can’t recommend him highly enough!
